Barack Hussein Obama was both shocked and devastated when Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the presidential election earlier this month. Immediately afterward, Obama jetted off to Europe for his final trip there as president. Now, the true purpose of this trip has been revealed.
Conservative 101 reported that Obama’s trip was planned when the White House was convinced Clinton would win, and it was designed for Obama to reassure the world that the U.S. had regained its footing after a toxic campaign that unnerved foreign capitals.
“In some ways, there’s nothing to say,” said Heather Conley, a Europe scholar at the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies. “Now the president has the unenviable task of telling his counterparts and explaining what Europeans are now coining ‘the Trump effect.’”
While speaking in Germany, Obama slammed the president by sympathizing with the violent anti-Trump protesters. When asked about the riots against Trump, Obama said he “wouldn’t advise protesters to be silent” adding that “elections matters, voting matters, organizing matters and being informed on the issues matter.”
“One of the great things about our democracy is it expresses itself in all sorts of ways, and that includes people protesting,” Obama stated, according to Daily Caller. “I’ve been the subject of protests during the course of my eight years, and I suspect that there’s not a president in our history that at some point hasn’t been subject to these protests.”
Sorry, Barry, but your whining won’t change the fact that Trump is here to stay for the next four years!
