On Friday’s match, Colin Kaepernick, 49ers quarterback stayed seated during the National Anthem, saying black people are oppressed in America. People across America reacted to this situation and judged Kaepernick’s move. He was blasted for refusing to stand for National Anthem. Even the White House has responded, defending his right to make his statements, even if they don’t personally agree.
From White House they said that:
Kaepernick’s views are “objectionable” but “surely we all acknowledge and even defend” right to express them
Donald Trump also commented on this Kaepernick’s move.
During an interview on “The Dori Monson Show,” according to BuzzFeed, he said:
“I have followed it and I think it’s personally not a good thing. I think it’s a terrible thing, and you know, maybe he should find a country that works better for him, let him try, it’s not gonna happen.”
Well said, Mr. Trump !! Everybody who doesn’t respect our country should be out of here. Let him try to find better but it’s not gonna happen for sure.
