During coverage of the Republican National Convention, MSNBC’s anchor Rachel Maddow gave liberal viewers a warning to look away from the television screen and avoid seeing political buttons being sold at the venue.
“You may find it uncomfortable,” said Maddow with Brian Williams at her side. “And so, you may not want to look at this stuff. But these are some of the pins that are being sold at the venue.”
She continued, “And you know, you always, at conventions, you always get sharp-edged stuff, particularly the merchandisers tend to compete with each other to see what they can produce that will one up one another.”
One button read: “Life’s A B—h: Don’t Vote For One” with a picture of Hillary Clinton. Another showed an oft-repeated sentiment at the Republican convention: “Hillary For Prison” showing her behind bars.
Still another seemed a little more cutting, going after her looks: “KFC Hillary Clinton Special: 2 Fat Thighs, 2 Small Breasts, Left Wing.”
Maddow noted pre-printed signs have also been appearing on the convention floor saying “Hillary For Prison.”
“We’ve seen calls from the stage that she ought to be in stripes, that she ought to be locked up. That’s been a chant throughout the convention proceedings thus far,” the liberal commentator stated.

A lot of people responded to Maddow’s warning on Twitter and here are some comments
“Those are funny. I’m going to look for them,” wrote Spunk.
“looked like a fool sitting next to the other host. He actually took her seriously,” Brian Williams added.
“Bless their hearts…Someone show them to the nearest Safe Space” was still another’s response.
